Built in 1982 with four serpentine slides and two speed slides, Water Wizz has grown to be one of the largest outdoor water parks in New England. Today, we offer a variety of slides and other attractions, including our 76’ tall Devil’s Peak water slide, some of the longest tube rides on the East Coast, a wave pool, lazy river, and much more!
As the best family water park in Cape Cod, we also have interactive play areas and attractions ranging from low to high thrill levels. With dining options on-site and lodging nearby, you can enjoy multiple fun filled days at the park!
Our History
Water Wizz of Cape Cod was established in 1982 and included some of the first water attractions in New England. In 1984, the park was expanded by adding bumper boats and an 18 hole mini golf course. In 1989, a lazy river, food concessions, and the longest tube ride (The Canal) in Southern New England were constructed. In 1993, Harpoon Lagoon and Pirates Plunge were added followed by Squid Row in 1995. One of the goals was to put in a wave pool which was finally built in 2000. Fast forward a decade and you will see Captain Kid’s island (2008), Thunder Falls (2013) and Devil’s Peak (2013).
On the Big Screen
You might know Water Wizz as the water park in Grown Ups, a comedy movie from 2009, and in The Way Way Back from 2012. Come splash around where some of your favorite stars did on the big screen!
