PARK REMINDERS

  1. Positions are full and part time. Positions are open to prospective candidates age 14 (by June 1st) and over.
  2. Food Service positions for 14 years and up. Cooks in the snack bar must be age 16.
  3. Any employee under 18 must have a worker’s permit before they begin working.
  4. Worker’s permits can be obtained at your local superintendents office after you have been hired.

ADMISSIONS

Job Description:

  • Use point of sale computers accurately and efficiently.
  • Efficient in money handling.
  • Provide exceptional guest service.
  • Requires an assertive, confident, and friendly personality.
  • Handle guest concerns and direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Positive attitude and a smile.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Knowledge of all park information (ie: rules, rides, locations, procedures etc..)
  • Willingness and flexibility to learn many roles (rental booth, bag checking, ticket scanning, tube bin, ticket booth, or guest services).

Requirements:

AQUATICS ATTENDANT

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the safe operation of slides and attractions by enforcing rules, assisting guests, answering questions and communicating safety instructions
  • Attend all scheduled in-service training times and staff meetings
  • Keep a clean, safe work area
  • Any other duties as assigned to you

Requirements:

  • Must be 14 years old or older
  • Must complete Starguard Elite Training provided by Water Wizz and maintain certification (16+)
  • Friendly personality with a positive attitude
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including at least one weekend day
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, work at different heights and have the ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions
  • Be able to communicate with other Team Members using radios, hand signals or verbal commands
CERTIFIED LIFEGUARDS

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the safety of guests in all water attractions by watching the water, enforcing park rules and communicating safety instructions.
  • Attend all scheduled in-service training and staff meetings
  • Keep a clean, safe work area
  • Any other duties assigned to you

Requirements:

  • Must be 15 years old or older at time of lifeguard training
  • Must complete the StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Training Program (provided at no cost by
    Water Wizz) and upkeep license requirements
  • Friendly personality and positive attitude
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule including at least one weekend day
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time and have the ability to work in various weather
    and temperature conditions
  • Be able to communicate with other Team Members using radios, hand signals or verbal commands
EMT

Job Description:

  • Provide First Aid to Guests as needed
  • Maintain daily inventory and inspect all park medical equipment
  • Complete reports and other documentation

Requirements:

  • Current Massachusetts EMT Certification
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Be able to interact with aquatics staff and lifeguards during medical emergencies
  • Be able to interact with other EMS, Fire and Police as required to promote patient care
  • Have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Have a friendly, outgoing personality
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Have a strong attention to detail

Job Description:

  • Prepping and cooking food daily to meet the demand and volume of guest’s orders
  • Follow opening and closing procedures for each concession stand
  • Replenish inventory as needed
  • Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Must be 16 years or older
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic

FOOD SERVICE RUNNER

Job Description:

  • Work in a variety of concession stands assisting with the daily operations
  • Provide support to keep the daily operations running smoothly
  • Prep food, fill condiment dispensers, restock items, wipe down tables, wash dishes and keep all areas clean
  • Other duties as assigned

FOOD SERVICE TEAM MEMBER

Job Description:

  • Working in the various concession stands assisting guests by preparing, serving or selling food and drinks.
  • Providing exceptional guest service while taking guest orders, offering suggestions and upselling items on our menus.
  • Operating Point of Sale (POS) cash registers, receiving and returning proper change.
  • Preparing everything from cheeseburgers to fried dough to soft drinks.
  • Filling condiment dispensers, restocking items, wiping down tables, washing dishes and keeping all areas clean.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for inspection, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and basic repair of attractions and mechanical systems park wide
  • Perform and record daily opening, operating and closing procedures
  • Some knowledge of plumbing, carpentry and painting
  • Knowledge of power and hand tools
  • Keep a clean, safe work area
  • Any other duties as assigned to you

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • High school degree or GED required
  • Technical school preferred
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including at least one weekend day
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, work at different heights and have the ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions

PARK SERVICES

Job Description:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the park
  • Hourly restroom cleaning including toilets, urinals, sinks and floors
  • Restocking supplies as needed in the restrooms and stock closets
  • Clean the patios, walkways, or any other areas that need attention
  • Water the plants

PARKING LOT

Job Description:

  • Direct guests to parking spots in an efficient, friendly manner
  • Maintain a clean parking lot
  • Direct emergency vehicles in the event of an emergency

  • Demonstrate ability to take direction and follow through

POOL TECH

Job Description:

  • Test the pool water and make any necessary adjustments in water chemistry to meet proper standards.
  • Vacuum pools and brush deep ends.
  • Performs repair work in and around pools, filters, pumphouses or on the pool decks.
  • Maintain the filtration/ circulation systems, including backwashing of the filter media and cleaning of the strainers and skimmer baskets.
  • Maintain the pool area and make any necessary repairs to ensure the safety of our guests.
  • Perform daily opening, operating and closing procedures.
  • Keep inventory of supplies and chemicals
  • Keep a clean, safe work area
  • Any other duties as assigned to you

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years old or older.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including at least one weekend day.
  • Able to stand or walk for long periods of time and can work in various weather and temperature conditions.

RETAIL

Job Description:

  • Team Member assists in the running of the park’s gift shop.
  • Restock products throughout the day
  • Keep the gift shop clean and organized
  • Assist Guests to find products
  • Finalize purchases at the register.
  • Welcome and greet all Guests as they enter retail locations
  • Operate register systems to finalize purchases
  • Stock and organize products
  • Maintain overall organization, cleanliness, and safety of work location
  • Assist managers and supervisors with inventory control methods
  • Process damaged merchandise
  • Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 14 years or older.
  • Able to communicate and receive direction both verbally and using walkie-talkies.
  • Able to stand on feet for prolonged periods of time.
  • Capable of lifting 25 lbs. and bending/squatting occasionally.
SECURITY

Job Description:

  • Maintain a safe and clean park for guests and employees
  • Enforce park policies
  • Patrol and monitor zones of the park
  • Be cautious and reliable
  • Remain calm in emergency situations
